Im looking of buying an A6 Avant 2.5tdi sport quattro 2002, not quite sure what to look out for, it has covered 146000 miles with full and detailed service history. Is this model affected by the early cam wear problem & what is the best way to spot the problem. Any help appreciated.

Full history is good but the big thing to look for is the oil change frequency, if it was on long life service interval then it can go up to 2 years / 20k without a change which despite the better spec of oil required for this service interval really isn't any good and is major contributor to the cam wear.
