Anyone had this: 2005 3.0TDI Tiptronic, when driving at say 30 mph and then I lift my foot of the gas the revs drop as you would expect and then they rise a bit and then drop and so on??? Doesn't seem to affect anything else and the car drives great, but this is just a little weird.

Does anyone else have this on their car?? If you are driving and you take your foot of the accelerator do the revs just drop smoothly or is there a pulsating effect with them going up and down?
I do. '57 A6 Allroad 3.0tdi. When coasting the car lurches a bit as the revs bounce. Almost as if it doesn't want to change down. Currently at the dealers getting fixed, I hope!! They've had it for 4 days!
