    2.0 tdi lack of power

    my mates A has a problem has had vagcom scan and came up with MAF code and MAF changed codes cleared car still down on power scaned again comes up with
    16683 Boost Pressure Regulation: Control Range Not Reached

    what dose this mean is turbo faulty or is it a boost leak or n75 valve
    EGR has recenly been changed

    Check your pipes from/to turbo all way to the inlet manifold, reckon could be a loose 1 if someones been messing with piping for egr, also check any connectors are pushed home ok.

    everything seems to be conected up right can not hear a boost leak when car is running how else can a boost leak test be done

    the problem was fixed. turbo was knakered and causeng car to go in to limp mode so got a recon turbo fitted and a new N75 valve

    Which engine code was that on & if it was a bkd then it doenst have an n75 as such, it has a solenoid valve block that actually houses various valves, chances of that going are slim tbh if turbo goes.

    its blb engine code it was the solenoid valve that was changed i think
