A6 Lower suspension arm replacement

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a complete front arm replacement kit for my A6 4.2 1999 car.
All the arms fit correctly apart from the lower front arm, the item I was sent was 8do407151h , the code that the lower front arm is stamped with is 4do 407 155 J, I cant find this part anywhere, can someone point me in the right direction ?

Neither of those part numbers exist in etka.

Can you tell me wether the uprights are alloy or steel, and PM me your chassis number and i'll tell you the proper part required.

apologies, there also appears to be a difference on the front subframe, can you confirm yours is steel.

The uprights will most likely be alloy as its an 8 cylinder.

I suspect you need: 4B3407151C, which has the small tapered balljoint to fit the alloy uprights.

I dont know if the sub frame is steel or no.

You are correct with the small tappered ball joint, please see the pic on the link.

I think the S6 got an alloy subframe, and has a different arm, but yours being a "normal" 4.2 should have a steel one.

If so, the number above is correct.

You can also buy lemforder 22816 02 or meyle 116 050 0031/HD which is the same part.

I now have another problem, the lower rear control arm does not fit, can you tell me the product code it should be.

I shall give Jason a call on Monday, I didnt realise they were closed today.
