My 2001 a6 has a faulty instrument pod- none of the analogue sensors work so i'm guessing it is fecked.
I have picked up a set of pre face-lift (analogue clock as opposed to digital unit on old clocks) clocks with a different part number but from a 1.8t all the same. My question is will they work i have pulled the 4 digit pin from my faulty clocks but do i need to change the pin in the new clocks or program my keys to work with the new instruments.
Hope somebody can help as this is the only thing stopping me getting mobile again .
