4.2 cambelt replacement intervals??

Hi all, been looking at an S6 Avant, its done 74k but the owner says the service book was lost ages ago? he says he has phoned audi and they confirmed it has audi services! how can i find out if the belts ect have been done? will it be due next year as it will be 10 years old? just dont want to be landed with a big bill

I think the s6 is 80k , the rs6 is every 40k or 4 years... They are over 1k for a proper job .....

Cam belt is due at 80k make sure all the tensioners & waterpump etc are done too as the belt is most likely to break if one of those fail.

Ring Audi UK direct and ask them, they can be helpful sometimes lol
