    a6 kangarooing unless at full throttle!

    Hi

    my mate has got a 2008 A6 2.0TDi which has been running poorly for a few weeks. If he tried to drive steadily/normally it would judder & kangaroo mainly in 1st & 2nd but if he puts his foot down it runs better. The engine management light also came on. So i disconnected the maf & it ran perfect.

    I did a diag check & 2 codes came up both relating to the maf. So today i've fitted a new Bosch maf then erased the error codes.

    The problem is the car is still showing the same symptoms but there's no error codes & i've now disconnected the new maf & it's running fine with it disconnected!

    anybody got any ideas?
