Query regards model years 2005 and 2008

Hi, I am narrowing my options for a change to an estate, almost certainly it's going to be a 3.0 tdi or the 2.7 unit.... 3.0 pref due to quattro which i'd hate to be without! (they don't do the 2.7 tdi in quattro do they?) My question surrounds changes between say a 2005 model and a 2008.

I know the 2008 would have LED rears, what else should i be concious of, are the sat nav units the same throughout the range for example?

on another question, is it definitive that most of the post 2006 3.0's will have the higher tax or did they equip them with the particulate filter presnt on the A4 3.0 tdi DLV's?

If the car has Xenon lights, they you get LED rears light as standard from 2005 onwards

I've just literallly been reading up on that, I must say I think the xenons are a must....are all xenon upgrades bi-xenon on these?

This was going to be a 'me growing up' and getting rid of the S3 'toy' - the more I read the more I'm getting excited at all the retrofits i'll be attempting!!
