i called audi today and it said i have to wait until feb or march to get a new one but i reli want to get one before christmas:-(. im just looking for the basic 2.0t 180 and what is the max discount they will give if i pay up front?

Welcome, but why buy new when you can buy almost new with minimal mileage but save thousands.

i talk to audi about it as well but they dnt have any second hand in 2.0t 180 and they seem like expensive coz i checked on autoebid.com for the 2.0t 180 se, they reserve the price at 23,185 and i can still apply for the scrappage so hopefully i can get it at around 21000. im a student so i dont have much money:-(

I understand what you mean, but you kinda contradicted yourself to a degree, implying you can buy outright, then you say you dont have much money as you're a student, if you can buy that car outright then trust me you're one of the minority in the student world, most have loans upto the hills, lol.

You should use a search engine for used audi's, as long as they're under 3 years old, which A5's are, then you will have the warranty still intact with audi, get a 1yr old A5 with 2yrs left of warranty is a win overall, as peace of mind if anything goes wrong & also save you a fair whack over dealer prices, there are a number of garages that specialise in VAG cars, just search about.
