2G MMI (NAV) to 3G+ MMI retrofit

As I'm a new owner to a Audi A5 3.0 TDI Quattro I'm looking to do a upgrade my MMI from 2G MMI (NAV) to 3G+ MMI

I've looked on audizine & a5oc with a dedicated thread they have there for the retrofit but I'm finding it hard to get specific details on which hardware parts I need with part numbers as them sites are US based.


So I'm wondering if anybody here has done this upgrade ?

Take a look on eBay. There are a couple of people offering 3G+ retrofits and they list the main part numbers you need. Ebay Germany is probably the best source of bits and most sellers ship to the UK.
