Audi A5 2.0t Chrome going white?

Hi guys I've just purchased a 2009 Audi A5 2.0t Cabriolet in black...superb car!
I'm just wondering if anyone else has noticed the chrome on the windshield is going white!!! I hope its just the lacquer and not the aluminium.
Can anyone suggest how to buff this up ...I think I need a mild abrasive but not too sure ...

Many thanks in advance...the 2002 A4 cab I had before this didn't go white but I did polish it a lot lol...

Milky chrome trims are common on exteriors, only way I know to get factory look is to replace them, tried on one of our previous cars & got nowhere, so new were needed.

Cheers for the reply !....I will have a look at them in daylight ..mabey look at removal and possible chrome wrap or painting if I feel they look bad ...
