Thinking of S5, quick question

Hi, I've got an A4 3.0tdi cab at the moment with shark map which I am pretty happy with but am thinking of changing soon to an S5 cab. Does anyone use their S5 for towing a caravan who could give me their opinion on how it handles, fuel consumption etc. I tow a 1800kg Hymer Nova and the A4 copes really well, even if we do get some strange looks!

I guess one of the things to consider is fuel consumption, I assume it's not great with the 3.0tdi when towing but the S5 would be dire. I don't think you would get many strange looks as apart from the mirrors it doesn't look that much different to an A5. It would be the fastest caravan on the road though! How about the SQ5?

Thanks, suspected that would be the case, I'm sticking with a cab though so will probably let my head win for a change and go for an A5 3.0tdi.

Good idea, quick remap and it will be almost as quick as the S5 and better economy anyway.
