Happy days. I have agreed to trade in my A4 and have went for an Ibis White A5 2L TDi S Line Sportback. Lovely looking baby. Is there anything I should be aware of with regards to common faults etc or any recalls? I called the Audi call centre and they said it was all good. The car's only done 13k miles Since Sept 2010.

I'll be driving it to Lanarkshire from Birmingham when I collect it. Maybe drive it up with VAG Com connected :D

Oil change every 10k miles recommended?

No need to drop the oil every 10K.

Audi variable servicing is every 19K using long life oil.

Hey, drove up the A5 from Birmingham last night. Great drive, what a fantastic piece of machinery. Audi are really smashing it right now. However...I scanned it with VAG Com just now and it gave me this:

1 Fault Found:
03041 - Energy Management Active
000 - - - Intermittent
Freeze Frame:
Fault Status: 00100000
Fault Priority: 7
Fault Frequency: 1
Reset counter: 95
Mileage: 21951 km
Time Indication: 0
Date: 2013.06.04
Time: 09:39:00

Freeze Frame:
Bin. Bits: 00000
Voltage: 12.00 V
Count: 17

What is this?!

I've checked Ross-Tech and it seems a bit vague :/

false alarm, panic over. I see that it's just a fault that I can clear with no worries.

i've noticed my car does the needle sweep. Is that standard on the A5 Sportbacks?
