A5 1.8TFSI Coupe Black Edition MPG??

Looking to buy a 1.8TFSI Black edition A5 but what is worrying is what the MPG might be?!

Currently have a A1 and I do alot of around town driving, average about 41 mpg.

can anyone tell me what they are getting with thiers?

That's pretty good really. some people say there only gettin 25 - 27

Had one since September, covered just under 6k miles, average since new is 34.8mpg according to the DIS.

Had mine since September too. 5500 miles so far and its averaged 36mpg overall since I bought it ( and that includes red-lining it at least once on nearly every commute trip....). That figure is calculated by tracking all the fuel used in a spreadsheet....

Very pleased with the engine. Its got as much torque as my old A3 2.0TDI so it feels really gutsy....

Usually shows 38-40 on an 80mph motorway trip on the DIS.....
