Thinking of buying a 2009 Audi A5 3.0 Tdi with 85.000 miles on clock, good idea or not ?

Yes, but check gearbox, clutch, and probably best to avoid s-line suspension.

Mileage is on the high side so check no big bills due in service and maybe get an independent inspection for the sake of a few quid.

Tiptronic? Does it have any Audi warranty?

Thanks for comments, its my partner who is thinking of buying the Audi. He is just worried that its done alot of milage but he will get it checked before buying.More comments would be appreciated, if any one as any experiences of buying with a lot of milage.
