Is AMI compatible with ipod Nano 6G, and does it charge it?

Picking one of these babies up on 1st March (A5, not the nano!).

Got a 6G nano for Christmas. Im almost certain its compatible with the AMI, but not sure if it will also charge the nano. I read somewhere that some of the older nano's (4G?) needed an additional adapter to allow charging.

Can anybody confirm? If an adapter is needed, any idea which one (link please!).

Well, I can answer my own question now having picked up the new car today! The nano 6G is fully compatible with AMI and it charges fine too
