quick question...Will this size wheel fit?

hi guys,
im going to be picking up my 2010 A5 S-line. Done a bit of research and i think the current wheels (19" y design) are 8.5J wide and have an offset of et32?

basically im looking at some new wheels but they are 9.5J and offset of et45. I put this into the 'wheel offset calculator' (Wheel Offset Calculator) and it says that there will be 26mm Less clearance from the inside of the wheel to the strut housing, and will have the an unchanged exterior clearance.

would anyone know if they will fit without any problems??

i have a 32 offset set of wheels on my a4 b6 my mate bought a set of wheels with a 45 offset for his a4 b6 by mistake. the wheels sat way inside the arches and where an eye sore. hope this helps mate.

so if they sit way inside, could i just get spacers?

well you would need pretty big spacers and longer bolts. i would get the right offset cause they just look right and theres no fuss.

Why bother at all ? The 19in Y spokes are Classic and look superb.
