A5 pedals and seat position

I've been looking at A4 B8s but wondering whether I would be better off with an A5 because of the strange offset seating position in the new A4. The A5 doesn't seem to have this issue - does anyone know whether the A5 Sportback has the issue because it has the same floorpan as the A4 B8 ?
