Propshaft ?

Looking for a propshaft for my 2.8 30v Quattro Avant.
Does it share prop with any other model as finding one is proving to be tricky so far.

Or anywhere recommended that can recon one ? (Midlands preferably)
Or scrapyards that may have one?
Any help locating one really.

I would suggest any quattro B5 prop will probably fit, so long as its from the same transmission.

Yours will most likely be a 5 speed 012 box, which is pretty much the same on all 5 speed B5's, only the 6 speed boxes are likely to have a different prop.

Forgot to say it is an auto though... 5 speed auto.

Had a quick look while getting the new exhaust fitted today (yet another job that'll need doing twice)... and discovered that you can't get to the prop without the usual(?) Audi thing of having to take half the car away first so couldn't even give the UJ and mount a look over.
I didn't really have more than 2 mins so never got a good look really, any tips for how long it takes to swap a prop over? So I know roughly how long to give myself.
