I'm considering purchasing, still reading up on it, but I'm wondering of the people here who have them, what types of things do you use yours for? Do you find you use it often, is it worth the money? Would you recommend it for someone that doesn't do a lot of their own repairs, just minor things?

I think mine is great! I personally wouldn't be left without one now that I own an Audi. Mine has paid for itself a few times over already, and you can even make minor modifications to your car with the auto door locking feature, change coding on auto transmissions, etc. I would definately say it's worth it.

i haven't used it cos i'm worried that it might not have protection circuitry and it could damage the car
