Hi guys, does anyone know where i can definately buy the 12 point torx drivers, for removeing the calipers etc of my S4. i did manage to use a t50 Star on the front ones, but now i see its a 12 point i dont want to risk rounding it inside in the future as i replace the Discs

My s4 calipers were held on with 12mm metric fine bolts with hex heads.

Not seen any spline ones as yet, as stated above it will be the spline/ribe bits

well i think one of mine is on its way out, though not by me, but those splines look like what i need, so thanks very much

Remember there are two or three different types of spline bit.

I think most VAG stuff use "Triple Square" or "XZN", which has a 90degree angle on the points.

"Spline" tools have a different point angle, and while they will for the most part work in XZN bolts, if the XZN fixing is a bit crusty etc you may well round it out.

You also get double-hex, which as the name suggests is two hex heads overlaid giving 12 points, each point is much shallower than the other two though.

mine are all standard hex heads on the calipers
