dash has a circle with a nipple on top when i break ?help!!!!

Perhaps you have a wrong bulb fitted?

IE a single filament bulb installed in the brake light position, rather than the correct stop/tail bulb?

I'd go buy two new twin filament bulbs and fit them, and see if the problem goes away.

When I first start mine up it does some checks and the light you described stays on till I depress the brake pedal, then it says OK. If the light remains on or comes on when you brake, as mentioned, check the bulbs.
