Options & advice on cleaning a turbo

With it being the bank holiday this weekend, I'm going to replace the cat & manifold. So was wondering what is the best way to clean the turbo out (if possible) and if there are any special tools, cleaners, & gaskets for the turbo required

I wouldn't bother trying to clean the hotside unless it is properly coked up.
the cold side will be oily (if it is not it will be a miracle). good hose out with petrol, thinners etc will get rid.

I would say more important is cleaning out the oil feed and more importantly the return. or just replace them!
