Help Needed! My ABS light has come on

Hello all

My ABS light keeps coming on intermittedly on my 1.8 TQS, took it to my mates garage to see if he could fix it but no luck.

My mate suggested it could be the ABS pump or one of the sensors, what do you think??

Or any suggestions what it could be???

Would appriciate help asap as people are coming to view my car to buy it this weekend.

Just repaired the ABS on mine, was a cracked rear reluctor.

VAGCOM will tell you which corner is at fault.

Just replaced one of my corner abs sensors now abs judder when braking, do you have to vag-com it after replacing a sensor to reset it?

abs kicking in probably meansthe signal is weak, ie a corroded reluctor, or the sensor isnt in far enough.
