Can anyone help, as above my 2.5 tdi doesn't want to warm up fully.

It's just had the timing belt done and the water pump and thermostat were changed as well.

Took her out this morning and it'll only get up to 70 degrees on the coolant and oil gauges if I drive it pretty hard, drive it sensibly and the temperature drops back down again.

Any ideas?

Sounds like thermostat to me.

Might be worth changing the coolant sensor seen as the stat has already been changed, alternatively you may find your garage have shafted you and didnt touch the stat.

id bet its a duff stat thats gone in. bad luck on a V6

Go on upset me how difficult is it change the coolant sensor and the thermostat....

Sensor should be easy, not seen where it is on a TDi, but the petrols its a 5 minute job.

Stat is a bit of a pig on V6 petrols, no idea on a TDi though.
