S4 Sparks

Last time I had these changed, Doug at MRC put a set of RS2 Platinum's in. Now does anyone know the life of these (as car seems same as always, but they were changed three years ago) and do I need these again or are the S4 alternatives just as good??

Any info would be helpful

The RS2 plugs (Bosch F5PDOR) spark a little cooler than the standard ones, which keeps EGT's down. I think i've seen MRC recommend that these are changed every 10,000 miles on a highly tuned S4 (400+bhp), but imagine they are probably fine for much longer than that. If you're still on K03's then it shouldn't really matter so much which plugs you have fitted.

Mine's running 320bhp, but like I say, i cant feel any hesitation in throttle response. I spose only way to know is to check.....

20K miles, although having not managed that many in 3 years I was recommended to change them again.

personally id use either OE S4 items or OE RS4 items. NGK branded
