brake discs

any one know of a good set of brake discs the standard crap i got on my car are warped i dont want pay $$$'s about £100 is about my limit and hope to get pads with them but if i cant then no probs its a 1.8t avant 97 aeb

Just goto the factors and buy a pair of disks and get some decent pads. Should cost you about 30quid for the disks and similar for pads too.

"warping" is usually caused by pad material transfer, this usually happens because you come to a stop and hold the car on the brake pedal while the brakes are hot. This causes some of the pad material to stick to the disk and this material becomes hard. Over time this turns into a high spot on the disk causing the typical judder.
