Climate going bonkers.

Hey all.

Replaced my engine a few weeks ago and have done over 1500 miles since.

In the last few days though the climate control fan has been going up and down of its own accord. Goes up to about half way then back down again. It does.nt matter what temp you set it at. Have i wired something up wrong do you think?


Any help appreciated.

What year? If it's pre-facelift (96-99), if you press the Auto button the fan will change automatically. If you then press up or down on the fan controls it will put it in "manual" mode. It's seriously the worst designed A/C system EVER.

Its a facelift on a 99. Was working fine until the last few days. Fan just goes up/down up/down constantley.

That's because it's climate control not A/C
The whole point is that you set a temp and it maintains that temp.
Me, have you checked the fan regulator?
