slight whistling noise

I think one of the one of the pipes for the turbo is split causing a slight whistling noise, which you can only hear when the window is down. anyone know if one pipes is more prone to splitting than others?

It could be the clip lose.

Mine does it, its the turbo spooling on mine as i have an airtight system.

I like to feather the throttle and try to play tunes on it sometimes... Sad yes, fun.. Meh !!

It's the 1.8T, could be a hose clip so will check them, but I think it's a split hose.

are you down on power?

If you were dumping boost thru a split hose or a loose clip it wouldnt run very well i'd expect...

It does feal a little down on power but not by much. The car is runnig fine, and there are no fault codes on the engine!
