    brake upgrade.

this may have been covered but i didn't find it on my travels.

Is there a caliper carrier swap available that enables you to run larger discs ?

my car is a 1.8t sport avant 2001 B5 chassis.

You can fit S4 breaks into your 1.8 but you will need the full brake setup and also I think Sus arms or Sus legs

    ok
does anyone know what calipers i'd need to buy specifically to fit 312 discs ?
ie, TT or whatever or a part number would be ideal

You need the carriers from a TT, and disks from a B6 A4.

They're hard to get hold of though, as most breakers want to sell either the complete calipers for or the complete braking setup (ie disks and pads etc too) as an upgrade for golfs for

I paid 50 for mine eventually.
