    Wheel question

I've found some Mercedes Vito alloys at a local scrapyard in good nick and going cheap.

    They are 17", 8.5J with offset 35.

    Would they fit my B5?

Need some wheel asap as my originals are badly in need of refurbing. The lacquer is missing from large sections on all 5 and I am having to check pressures and pump up every few days.

they are a bit wide for a b5, but probably would squeeze on.

So you reckon they'll fit, hmmm, liking that.

Would I need any spacers, planning on fitting the 225/17/45's that are currently on my shabby 17's

    Bugger.

But... ET35 would be okay on the back, but you might have trouble with the fronts. But... it all depends on what tyre sizes you fit and how low your car is.

I was going to say the other way round.
My 8.5x18's clear the front strut and arches no problem, rears are little snug but it is nice and firm so doesn't rub

I was running 8.5" Fat5's before the monos... I had 10mm rear spacers and nothing on the front... but they were ET45 - hence why I thought the ET35 Merc rims would stick out a bit at the front!
