HELP PLEASE!!! Coilover Install problem!!

Hi, Basicly the car is a FWD 1997 TDi. Basicly at the rear standard shocks, the bottom of the rear shocks the bush sticks out an inch so the total length of the bottom end of the rear shock standard is 3 inches, my coilovers are 2inch and i do not have that extra inch sticking out, do i just get any bush to use as spacer or what?

Shall i just put the nut on and tigten it? Will the nut break or will i need to buy a additional bush from garage?

are they new? surely they come with a spacer
if your old shocks are scrap you could chop the extending piece off and use that

removed some koni coilovers the other day and they had a spacer sleeve so guessing yours are missing?

Yeap they are missing, lol im not new, just confused me when i saw it.

Ill go get some spacers and put em on!
