Remote Key Fobs

Hi all,

Does anyone know if it's worth keeping hold of the remote fobs to sell on to someone.

My 1999 1.8T is getting handed in as part of the scrappage scheme soon and i'm trying to think of parts that it could be of some use to people.

I've got all the original keys, 2 remote fobs, 1 standard key and a workshop key.

I know how expensive these fobs can be.

yes please!

They can be recoded if they are the IMMO 2 as far as I know, possibly the later ones.

deffo dont give them anything more than the valet key. keep the fobs and transponders..

is it a facelift model? pull locking pump out, handbrake handle, vents etc if it is

Strip it of everything mate... just give them the chassis

Thanks for the replies all,

I've managed to sell on the wheels, bonnet and rear bumper (obviously swapped the parts over)

I've kept the two key fobs if anyone is interested in making me an offer for them. I can post pictures if required.

I've also got the climate control unit and ashtray on ebay now.
