after recently finding out on here (cheers for the info) the ecu that i bought a while ago will be no good for my project, i've decided i'm going to sell it on. but first of all i want to garauntee that it is genuinely superchipped lol i do have a reciept from rally-tec that came with the ecu, but i was gonna take the back off just to see, hopefully a big "im a superchip, chip" lol is it likely? lol

you may find a more subtle change, last one i opened for instance had an eeprom socket (they dont from the factory) and the date on the eeprom was two years after the ECU was manufactured...
cheers aragorn. and not sure what the spec is, but its for a dbw AEB originally from an x reg passat according to the receipt. i might try and get in touch with rally-tec. see if they have anymore details

sorry it was me just writing aeb in there as thats what i bought it for lol... it must be apu then as its defo from an x reg passat, and it was you that told me dbw.
