Hello Gents,
I read somewhere there that there is a wire underneath the steering wheel cowling that recieves the signal for the transponder on the key. I read that it is advisable to pull this out a bit to get a stronger recieving signal? My signal is a touch weak, and I would like to rectify this. Does ANYBODY know what colour this wire is, and where abouts it is under the cowling?

Many thanks Fellas!

The reciever is in the barrel itself, infact the black ring you can see looking at the barrel is the reciever. You cant really move it, and its already as close to the key as your going to get!

Many thanks Aragorn! That clears that up then! Any ideas though on what could be causing a weak signal? It was fine, but occasionally ticks over then swithches off. Vagcom reads "weak signal".....
