Looking to poss buy an S4 and at some stage do a LPG conversion, has ayone done this? also i have been looking at some 18t avants as well but i have heard that they are gutless, i know if i can find one the tqs is a 180bhp over the std 150 but as a whole how are they....

there was one for sale in cheshire before christmas, had 212k miles on it. sold pretty damn fast too

You would need a VERY good LPG kit if you dont want to grenade the engine.

Such a setup would likely cost about 2k i would imagine.

I had 2 LPG installs in my cars and would never do it again.
So many problems....
And I had it on 2.0 Volvo and 2.0 Primera. With your 2.7BT engine wouldn't even touch it.
But if you really want to go LPG route, buy the best install as you can. You will be looking at
2k minimum for this engine. Stag or BRC sequent should be ok.
Another thing is to calculate how much you spend a year for petrol.
You need to see how many miles you need to do to get your money back.
When you calculate that, remember that LPG fuelled car will take 1ltr/60miles more easily.
