Spring fitting question

How easy is it to change the sus springs on a quattro? Or would it be better to pay to have it done and how much do you reckon it would cost?

Will the springs from a B6 fit a B5?

do it yourself mate, save a alot of money for something that is pretty straight forward. done my coilovers the other week and it took me 4-5 hours off and on and found it quite easy just time consuming. watch out for the pinch bolt thats the advice ill give you, if you feel them not going anywhere then take your time as if you snap them it can take alot longer

Will the springs from a B6 fit a B5?

Fronts will physically fit, but might not be the correct poundage.

rears are different afaik.

Oh pants.

Just bought a Eibach Prokit from the classifieds and didn't ask which A4 they were for.

Turns out they are for the 8E chassis (B6/7 I think) and I have a B5.

They were a good buy, only had about 1Ks use. Shame they're for the wrong chassis.

I'll be putting them in the classifieds as soon as I've taken some pics
