Need some help/advice with a cd changer

I won a cd changer on ebay a few weeks back which turned up today.

So when i went out to fir it in my car to my shock i found it had got a 9 pin round male plug on the cd changer and a 13 pin round male plug in the boot where the cd changer sits.

But my question is can you get a 13 pin female to 9 pin female adapter so i can fit the unit?.

No the changer you have is not compatible with your head unit. The 9 pin round plug means you have the older style Blaupunkt changer fitted to B5 A4's, you need the newer Matsushita one. It's not just the cable, the data bus is completely different.

I have a b5 a4 sand the plug in the car is a 13 pin one but it is the cd changer it self that has the 9 pin plug.
