    Lambda sensor replacement...

Is it really only a Dealer-only part, or can they be sourced reliably from elsewhere?

Symptoms - running rich, down on MPG, high Co2 readings, poor idle, etc.

Having no luck with changing the N80 valve, so moving on to other things to rule them out now.

Most motorfactors will sell you a lambda, places like ECP will probably even sell one that will just plug streight in.

Universal ones start from about 30-40quid, or you can buy something like this: http://www.lambdasensor.com/main/bos...tem=0258005160 which is a bosch sensor and a direct fit, or this: http://www.lambdasensor.co.uk/main/n...tem=OZA447-E35 which is an NTK sensor and a direct fit.

I just changed one on my 1.8T got the part from eurocarparts cost about Ł70 but was Bosch sensor. checked with vag-com after fitting and the fault I originally had with the last sensor was cleared and the new one is working fine with no faults.

Well, I'm guessing it'll be about Ł65 then.

I've not got a fault reading for it, but the symptoms I have lean towards that failing. Will check the wiring first before I jump into it though.

    Cheers guys.

Part no. for mine is NGK 0ZA47-E35 - will there be a problem at all do you think?

How much do you want for it?

I tried two of the newer versions for my 96 and it kept throwing up a code so there must be another difference somewhere?
