Wanted:Front Drivers side Hub assembly/wheel bearing housing for 2000 1.8tqs

Has anyone got a spare front hub assembly? basically need the bit that all the ball joints connect to. Someone has put a different one on my car, including a smaller cv joint to fit the hub!! ****** cowboys what next..

part number will be something like this 8D0407258AE or 8D0407258AM. The correct one on the passenger side is 8D0407257AE.

Hi there i have in my possesion a set of uprights with 82mm bearings and matching CVs. Removed i believe from a 2003 Passat Diesel, i bought them in error

Part numbers are 8D0 407 257 AR and 8D0 407 258 AR. Any use?

Neil: i suspect Byzan's ones will fit just fine, the passat has B5 running gear, and they're the larger 82mm bearings so should slot streight on.

maybee as a last resort i'll put one with a different part number on, just don't want to fit the wrong one cheers.

got drivers side ending in AE, was from my car as i fitted s4 ones and bearing is good, pm if you want it
