Door handle issue and part wanted

Hello again, can anyone help me with a couple of things..?

1.I was opening my door to get out of my car when I heard a slight crack and now the interior door handle has a lot of floppy play, it still works but it's just not right

Any ideas?

2. I'm looking for an upper steering column cover for my beloved B5. Has anyone got one knocking around at the back of their garage/cupboard?

1. common problem its the little return spring has broken the main fuction its that it holds the handle perfectly back to return position when you let go it wont affect you unable to open the door. If annoys you replace it for a new one wouldnt bother getting one from scrappy as could fadce the same issue due to age.

I removed them before throwing the handles out
