Hi, just a quick question. If you fit an after-market headunit will you lose the dashboard display?

Yep.

There is one model of Blaupunkt that allows the display to still work but it needs a very expensive adapter

I have a semi-classic Munchen H/U in mine and it's great!

Well that idea is out the window, lol. Better keep looking for a replacement or getting the volume fixed.

To be honest i have never missed the display but just remember all the other bits you need to make the system work
