climate control unit needed

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Can anyone help me? My climate control unit on my 96' audi A4 has broke, is there anyone who might just have a spare one knocking around? I've been on ebay and someone is selling one for £79 from an Audi A4 year 97'but says the unit won't work on mine, although he does have one for my year but wants £145 plus £8 postage!!!!!

If anyone can help I will be so happy. And I will pay postage.

They can also post the item direct to you.

Make sure you give them all the details you can on the part you want so they can make sure they send you the correct item. E-mail a picture to make sure.

I Think mine is gone as well, I have a 95 A4, Just got it 2 weeks ago. Had the Aircon Charged last night, as I was under the impression that was the problem, but it's not.
It always puts out hot air and only out of the top and bottom vents. Also the Air cons Compressor doesn’t kick in (so i'm told).
Do you think this is all down to the Climate control unit?
Any help will be greatly appreciated
