Thought id post a pic up of our new family wagon, what do you guys think shes worth?, 99 S plate, 129,000, full history, cream leather, cruise, climate etc
s4.jpg

nice car very clean! however you say family wagon, have you tried the family in the rear as the legroom is p*ss poor. Im struggling with my family

Well when i mean family, its only me, the misses and our little six month old boy, so the back seats aren't getting used as such 'yet', but i know what you mean the legroom does not look good!

And cheers for the comments, ill get some more pics up soon as:sm4:

Looks a nice car mate, is it black or dark blue??, as for space, yeah a little tight, but I have 2 child seats in the back for the boys and we are coping ok with it all and mine's only the saloon..

Without researching the paint code its either ming blue or santorin blue with cream leather and carbon fibre trim, but its been pretty handy really with all the stuff like prams, dogs, cots etc!

depending on its service condition, c.£4k?

cant see the pics though, but unfortunately there really is not a lot of rear leg room

Good choice my man! Hell'a car. Love it.

Looks like the AVUS wheels could do with coming off and given a good scrub though.

Any plans?!

Yeah would love to just hand it over to mrc for a week to be honest with a blank cheque:yes: but i think id be happy with a remap for the time being.

Has anybody had any problems with sticking/seized rear calipers on this model cause i have a grinding from the rear passenger wheel which is only audible at low speed? Disks dont look to good either so i think ill whip the wheels off and have a ganders, (and clean em while im there!)

Also does anybody know the official mileage for replacing the cambelt on the s4?, ive heard a few people say 60 up to 80,000?

I'd go with 60k, you really don't want it going pop in that engine....

sorry just re-read your question, When I asked the question of the specialist i'm sure they quoted nearer 90k as the 'official' figure ?

I thought 80,000 was the official cambelt life span but it really isnt worth risking is it!

Could anybody give me a rough price for a set of rear discs and pads for the s4?

Cheers:sm4:
