I've heard that if you've replaced the c/locking airpump and you've got 2 remote/fob keys, you don't need vagcom to recode. So how do you do it?

insert first key in ign and turn on
close door and lock manually with second key
press unlock on fob wait six seconds and press unlock again
car should unlock, remove key from ign and test
to code second fob swap keys around and repeat except press unlock twice then wait six seconds and press unlock again
