VAG-COM Fault code

I have just scanned my A4 with my new VAG-COM cable and shareware. It comes up with the following:

16500 - Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor (G62): Implausible Signal
[FONT=&quot] P0116 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent[/FONT]

I recently replaced the CTS with having running temp probs (not getting warm). I used a genuine sensor, so I'm not sure whats the problem. I tried clearing the code but it came back on the second scan.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

Check the wiring to it, maybe give the contacts a blast of cleaner, check no damaged wires that are shorting causing intermittant signals, check the connector pins for corrosion, scratch the contacts with small screwdriver just incase corroded, variety of things
