Hi,

Well i ordered a HID kit for my car in H4 fitment as that was what bulb was in there when i checked , but i've being reading on here, that cause my cars got facelift lights fitted it should be H7.

If the previous owner has changed to facelift lights would it be using the H7 bulbs or the H4 ones.

I'm asking this cause i'm hoping i've not ordered the wrong kit.

thanks

jay

Mine were (and still are) H7 - facelift lights.

But if you've taken an H4 out, then surely you would need an H4 kit. Did the bulb fit properly?

Geeman - yeah it seemed to be fitted all ok.Was just wondering like , as mine has facelift lights fitted to the front but when i checed the bulbs inside they was H4 but everyone was saying facelift lights are H7.

Aren't H4 bulbs used in applications where the dipped/main beams are the same bulb??

The facelift lights have seperate bulbs for dipped and main.

OOO right.Well my car came from factory with as a pre-facelift but the perious owner fitted facelift lights etc.

What would the difference be from using H4 to H7 bulbs?

Jay

The headlights are designed to have two H7 bulbs.

H7 is 2 pin
H4 is 3 pin

You should have one bulb inside the projector lens and one bulb in the other open reflector housing.

What do you have?
