A4-S4 sill plates?

Does anybody know if the sill plates are the same? i mean the bit you see when the door is open that kind of goes over the top and round the sill. Reason is im getting s4 skirts and door strips and just want to check if i need this too or if i can just paint the original a4 one?

Deffo different, RasA4 is having a similar issue. You can trim the A4 ones as they overlap the skirts too much.

I am reliably informed they are a nuiscence to cut too

yep taken one side off trying to get the sticky bits off they curve round far more than S4 ones

Is it the sill bit your sure about? I thought if you were putting s4 skirts on with the a4 door strips you had to cut the door strips or is it the actual sill cover bit you have to trim?

called a scuff trim where it says 'Audi' with a chrome strip. i have s4 door trims

Thats the bit. So i need the s4 ones unless i want to cut the a4 ones?
