Re Map 2.4 V6 30v

Thinking again, is there any point in a remap on the above engine in order to get a bit more power and possibly bring the fuel ecomony slightly better towards the wallet ?

If so, what do you reccomend and what are the gains going to be like?

I must say, I am not overly bothered by it, but if it is easy and the benefits are viable I will steam on!

not easy to mod the performance on 2.4's unless you spend loads of £££

I have been thinking about a K&N panel filter, but unsure if it is worth the hassle?

Imo its a waste of money remapping a normally asperated engine, £vs power gain is very small, you might get a small gain from an airfilter and exhaust but at the end of the day its your car and your money you are spending, id go for handling tbh nice set of rims and set of springs would be a wiser option

Selling up and buying a 2.8 is your best bet if you want to tune and remain normally aspirated...........
