    S4 elecrical gremlins !

    i have a couple of electrical gremlins with my 1999 s4 and would appreciate any help
    1-clock on dash stuck at 12:00(analogue)tried disconnecting battery reconnecting and leaving for 24hours but still nothing(instrument cluster has recently been removed and clock hasnt moved from 12:00 since it was refitted)

    2-cd autochanger goes through the cd load procedure everytime the ignition is switched off,so everytime i get in my car i have to wait a couple of minutes then it always goes to cd1 track1 !

    Any ideas? are there any hidden fuses??

    with the clock it sounds like the handles have been pushed on to far or too close together, i did the same thing when i dismantled my own your going to have to take them apart
    and it sounds like the permanent 12v supply to the cd changer has a bad connection

    cheers,any idea where it gets its feed from? is it from the radio?

    Thanks olds kool for the advice on the clock,just eased the top finger off a bit and now it works ok

    just got autochanger to sort now? anyone got any idea where changer gets its power from??
